Cu–S Isotopes of the Main Sulfides and Indicative Significance in the Qibaoshan Cu–Au Polymetallic Ore District, Wulian County, Shandong Province, North China Craton

With a focus on the Cu isotope geochemistry of chalcopyrite, this paper analyzed Qibaoshan crypto-explosive breccia-type Cu–Au polymetallic ore district in Wulian, Shandong Province, North China Craton (NCC). Combined with results situ sulfur analysis sulfides, certain reference and evidence for study genetic mechanism epithermal-porphyry metallogenic system were provided. The show that δ34S values main sulfides range from −6.81‰ to +3.82‰ are likely be attributed mixing derived mantle surrounding sedimentary rock assimilation. ore-forming may related progressive cooling transition earliest hydrothermal fluids dominated by H2S under relatively reducing conditions, followed gradual oxidation reduction. isotopic composition ores (δ65Cu = +0.169‰–+0.357‰) decreases depth, which is caused upward transport heavier isotopes. upper part breccia pipe area more gaseous, resulting enrichment δ65Cu.
